Forster Public School hosted the Life Education Van in 2015. The Life Education Program enhances schools' existing health and wellbeing programs by conducting student sessions and providing pre and post visit activities all of which use best practice in drug education. Life Education recognises that the effectiveness of positive health messages is enhanced when the message is reinforced over a period of time, across the curriculum and within the home and the broader community.
Forster Public School is fortunate to have Club Forster subsidise the cost of visiting the van so that each child at the school has the opportunity to attend the program.
