Why Is It So?

Science Experiments hit Forster Public School recently as students enthusiastically tackled tasks. Year 6 students became Science Tutors as students from classes 3 - 6 rotated around a number of activities. Some of the experiments included predicting whether items would sink or float before testing. Completing a circuit to make a paddle pop stock rotate. A hand strength monitor. Predicting and then texting what types of materials were magnetic. Investigating fingerprints with the help of magnifying glasses. Static electricity experiments. Amazing air support experiments and why didn't the balloons break? Making music using water in jars to make different sounds and the most popular experiment; making sherbert.

A fun time was had by all proving Education can be enjoyable whilst participating in 'Hands-on' activities as students got to experience many aspects of Science.
