Forster Public School Wins Newcastle University Science and Engineering Challenge

Each year the University of Newcastle conduct a Science and Engineering Challenge for students from all schools in the Taree/ Forster area. Forster Public School students got to compete against students from a number of other schools from around the district. The children were split into two teams. Forster Public School's first team won the challenge and our second team took out third place. Throughout the day students got to work on a variety of interesting science and engineering challenges. The key to our success was the fantastic way in which Forster Public School students worked together cooperatively and collaboratively in their teams.
