Tournament of the Minds

In August of this year 7 students from Grades 4 and 5 competed at the Regional Tournament of the Minds Competition. The children had to take part in an open ended Literacy Challenge. They had to work on the challenge for a period of 6 weeks without any adult assistance. During this time the children developed many leadership and team work skills. They perfromed their challenge at Westport High School in Port Macquarie. They did exceptionally well on the day and the judges were impressed by their creativity and innovation.
