A talented group of 22 mathematicians in Grades 5 and 6 were targeted to take part in the Australian Mathematics Trust Maths Challenge. The children's problem solving skills and higher order thinking were put to the test as the children had to solve a number of complex and multi layered mathematical problems. The children did extremely well and surprised themselves. When things started to get tough, they kept going and continued to work their way through the problems and achieved excellent success.
Emily got full marks and Alex, Mitchell and Rachel were right behind her.
