This year's team is a Knockout itself with Elise and Gemma , two of this year's team members being selected to play in the Hunter Team to play at the State Carnival in Sydney on 2nd May. Two boys narrowly missed out being selected to represent the Zone at the Hunter Trials and they were Lachlan and Patrick. The team members this year are the Elise and Gemma, Lacklan and Patrick and four other great players -Laia, Ashleigh, Lleyton and Mitchell. Congratulations to all.
It's a long time since there was a brother and sister combination in the tennis team -not since the Bullivant's and Henry's who won two State Titles in the Victor J Kelly Knockout -this could be the year. The team has been to the State Finals Day seven times in the last twelve years, but hasn't clinched the trophy.
They are already up to the fourth round of the PSSA competition defeating Tinonee and Bulahdelah Schools without losing a set. With Mrs Henry retiring this year not long after the Finals Day you never know what might happen. The 2011 team will give it their best shot as always.
