Forster Public School embraces Stephanie Alexander Kitchen/Garden National Program
After nearly ten years, Forster Public School continues to embrace the Stephanie Alexander National program for the Kitchen and Garden.
This program is one that focuses on the growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing of food.
The reasoning behind the Program is the , 'Growing the village for the well-being of our Children.'
The school employs both a Kitchen Specialist and a Garden Specialist.
The students continue to enjoy all aspects of the program and the school is always welcoming of helpers every week.
The program was officially launched by Stephanie Alexander herself in 2011.
