Manning Zone Tennis and PSSA

The Manning Zone Trials were conducted in February at Tuncurry Tennis Courts by Convener Julie Henry from Forster Public School.

Fourteen tennis players from five schools in the Manning Zone competed for the right to play at the Regional Tennis Trials to compete for a place in the Hunter Region Team.

These players were selected to represent the Manning Zone at the Hunter Area Trials: Elise, Gemma  from Forster P.S Rhiannon from Tuncurry P.S., Nathan  from Nabiac P.S. and Mitch  from Wingham P.S.

Congratulations to Elise, Gemma, Rhiannon and Nathan who were selected to represent the  Hunter Region. They have been training for the State Carnival to be held in Sydney on May 2^nd. It is great to see that four of the ten players selected for the Hunter team have come from the Manning Zone.
